This is one of his many favorite spots, he shares with his gal pal, Riley.
Yes, Bo has a basket for his toys. If only I can teach him to put his toys away. As you can see in the background, the basket is half-full. He loves to scatter his toys throughout the house or at my feet while I'm on the computer.
He can be upstairs sleeping and I will tip toe around the first floor picking up his toys and put them in his basket. I don't know how he knows, but he will come running down the stairs and take the toys out of the basket and precisely place them back in the exact spot. A few weeks ago, we had some guys doing some work around the house. I heard them talking upstairs, and one of the gents said, "this dog has more toys than my kid does"! I chuckled, they must have heard me, because I then heard silence.
Regardless of his toys being all around the house, Mr. Bojangles fills our hearts with joy and is indeed a loyal friend.
You might have heard about these pups and their loyalties. Such as the love story of Greyfriars Bobby and his master. Or seen recently the loyalty between two friend during the horrific times of Japan, HERE
Thank you, Francesca for a wonderful topic this week. To see and read about more four-legged friends visit Francesca's corner.
Have a golden day my friends!

Joyce, this topic is very dear to my heart. I love my quadrupeds more than life itself!
Hug Bo for me!
TOO cute.
aw, adorable! I have a book - "101 dog tricks" and there's a few pages on putting away toys. I need to teach miss stella.
He is just the sweetest thing. Love his face.
What a sweet face ... and that image of them on the stairs ... too cute!
Makes you feel good that you gave him a sweet home, doesn't it? Do you have the two "Second Chances" books? I didn't know you had two dogs. Precious!
I cannot make a move without Lucy knowing about it! ;)

Great picture of Mr. Bo. He is precious. And knows how to work the camera!
I don't know him but I love him! and yes he must know everyday how lucky he is to be with you. xo to all you four legs and two.

Bo... A look on happiness...
Oh I love his name! My dogs really have very few toys, they like to sleep more than play... a little like me!!!
Love it and great shots of Mr. Bo! Sophie has a ton of toys too sometimes she will put them away I'm shocked when she does! I have almost broken an ankle or two on her toys!Happy Wednesday!
Thinking about scattering habits, Bo has a lot in common with toddlers. And teenagers :)
My dog too has a basket of toys. My Mom sends him toys! He has a bone that he loves to play fetch with and
he show off with it when anyone comes to the door.
pve
What a sweet face he has! My Rufus is a rescue pup as well. He only has three toys and I only allow him one at a time. But I leave the other two in his food bag so they taste yummy when I take them out and he plays with them all the more! This doesn't mean he doesn't find other things to make his toys, too ;)
Thanks for your comment on my post!
I like the name Mr Bojangles, it's so cool! He has such an adorable look, he seems to understand you're taking pictures and to ask you a hug!
I wish we could save every single animal. That is my wish... Thanks you for you Joyce xo.
Your photos are so great. You have a lovely dog.
Mr. Bojangles is so charming! Lucky one! Such a contrast when I watched the video, it really made me cry. I searched the internet for proof that both dogs are safe, but globalanimal.com says these news remain still unconfirmed and they are waiting for picture proof. I so so hope they are both well!
Leslie, I found it be so touching too. Makes me want to adopt both dogs together!
Krissy- I would love to teach Bo to pick up his toys. I'm trying to teach him now to pray.
Dana, no I don't have either book. I will look into them. Riley is the dog we dogsit for at times.
Ann thanks for the following. I have you on google reader.
Kathy, I would love Sophie to teach Bo a thing or two!
PVE, how cute.
Janis thank you.
tanïa I heard both dogs were rescued the healthier one is safe in a shelter in that town and the sicker one went to another town to be treated. I wish I could remember where I read this. Divine Theatre might be able to help confirm this.
A BIG thank you my friends for your wonderful comments about our Bo. xo
wow...what a toys, and he has really sweet eyes!! I would love a dog, but the dog will be too much alone and I don't want that!
What a sweetypie!

Bo is a lucky dog! my dogs have a basket of toys too...but Richard likes to gut them and Benny slimes them....don't buy many anymore....:)
xoxo
Very cute! The hound here has a stack of tennis balls outside every door. Now if I could only train her to collect and stack all the fallen sticks and branches...
Cathy
those face by the staircase are so priceless, Joyce!
xo*
Don Gumaro is the one with more toys in my home, and as all he just wants his favorites (the ugly ones)...
I'm so happy with this amazing CV theme and all those great four legged around us!
love to see Mr. Bojangles and his cute cute nose!
Lucio is sending a big hugs for both of you!
What a cutie! And his name is perfect. He even looks like a Mr. Bojangles!
Oh he's so cute as is his girl buddy! We are looking for a home to buy that has a decent yard for a dog--preferably several acres. We temporarily live on a busy street with a postage stamp yard in the back. If he/she would get out the front door, he'd/she'd be in the street in two leaps and possibly flattened by a coal truck. So I must wait, but when the time is right, we will head to the local shelter and rescue at least one, maybe two.:)
And they will have lots of toys also.
My dog carries ALL his toys to which ever room he decides to reside in. It keeps him busy all day. Bo is adorable!
Oh my gosh...he's adorable!!
he looks great
i love his name - Mr Bojangles!
And he is just way too cute.
Mr. Bo - such an adorable fellow. I'm glad he found the perfect home :)
And thank you for your comments on my article! It made my day :)

Love this post....he sure looks like a special smoochie. I have 2 old english sheepies which I rescued. They are my loves.
joyce, thank you for sharing that video. sometimes the tenderness that emerges in these horrible situations, well, it just rips your heart open.
mr. B is so darling, and it is easy to see how well-loved he is.
one day we will have a dog... right now it's a treat to get to live vicariously. xoxo
