The official adoption took place on July 25. I couldn't let this day go by without having announcements made by less ordinary designs. Of course with a new home he needed a new name tag by |
He has adjusted very well in his new home. As you can see he loves to lay in the sun and at times sleeps with his eyes open so he doesn't miss a thing!
A short update about me: I have had a few more curve balls tossed my way in the recovery department, and still get tired fast, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your fingers cross that next week I hope to part way with my fashionable womb vac. After 9 weeks with 3 times a week visits through tears and laughter I will be sad to say goodbye to my nurse Jaclyn. She has been so good with me and will show Gary how to change my wet to dry dressings. Thanks my friends for checking in with me through texts, emails, cards etc...
